Health-check the content of your meetings

- To understand the current state of your meetings, we're going to use a simple meetings health check to find out what kind of topics you're currently discussing and how people are engaging with them. We suggest you start with the one regular meeting that takes up most of your time. This may be a meeting you run or attend. If you're an attendee, it will be smart to get the agreement of the meeting owner in advance to do this. To prepare the health check tool, we create a table with the meetings topics down the left-hand side and the names of the participants along the top. During the meeting, each time someone speaks, you simply put a tick in the relevant box. If people speak for a long time, you may add more than one tick. At the end of the meeting, you will have a graphical record of who spoke and how often for each of the individual topics. This is easy to do in virtual meetings. Simply copy your attendee list and…
