- [Instructor] If you can, come into a posture where you feel connected to compassion, and that might mean taking that posture of letting your shoulders drop and your heart float. And then take a few deep breaths, sensing your heart expand with each breath in. And now, take a moment to appreciate your own compassionate motivation. It might be a feeling, it might be words, but see if you can acknowledge and offer yourself appreciation and gratitude for your own compassionate aspirations. And now, sense or imagine some bigger than self-compassionate energy or source or community, and it could be in any form. It could be people you work with. It could be imagining people around the world who share your compassionate motivation. Or it could be big compassion itself. And when you can sense or imagine some bigger than self-compassion, imagine that you could send that bigger than self community or source of compassion,…
