- The next game-type habit that I want to talk about is grudges, bearing a grudge. Some people go through life pulling behind them this burden of all the things that have happened in the past, all the bad things that they're remembering. And it slows you down if you go through life bearing grudges. It's interesting how almost every annoying behavior, almost every bad behavior, fits somewhere on the triangle of persecutor, victim, and rescuer, and grudges are very much on the triangle. So I'll give you an example. Years ago, I shared an office with a guy who was a bit antisocial really. He didn't used to answer my phone when I wasn't there. I used to answer his phone and leave him messages, but he didn't answer mine. And also his stuff occupied more than half of the office. So I kind of didn't like him, but that was that.
