- This one's going to be a short one. If you're using any graphics, graphs, photos, or logos on your resume, and you plan to apply for any jobs through an online application process, peel them out of there. Or, better yet, create a second resume without all of those extras. Hopefully you're getting the clear point by now that all of these little pieces of flair, as I like to call them, they don't work well with the applicant tracking system.
