- Let's say, based on some of what we've covered so far or just from your own brainstorming, you have an idea for creating an innovative new AI or an ML solution for your customer service organization. And let's go on to imagine that you've been able to sell the value of the solution successfully enough that you have the resources to make it a reality. What do you do now? Your next step is to help the developers understand what you're trying to do. In other words, you need to develop your business requirements. In a software company they'd call your role the product manager or the product donor, but your IT probably just calls you the business. I like the phrase product donor, because without your vision and persistence your solution isn't going to happen, at least not the way you want it to.
