- [Instructor] Some other ways you can refer business is to people such as roofers, companies that have windows, people that do window finishing, such as blinds and drapes, sewer repairs, anything like that. Think of all the people who you come into contact with who you might be able to refer. There's a training resource called the Sample Referral Partner Tracking. This is a grid that will help you come up with ideas for referral partners and then track what revenue are you generating from them. Think about all the people you come into contact with on a daily basis and all the services and products that are needed for either other investors or for retail buyers. If you're fixing up a house and you have a retail buyer but you don't have any window coverings in your home, you might certainly be able to refer them to someone who provides window coverings.
