- There are many different ways to start promoting Agile within your organization. Often, you'll want to to convince several groups of stakeholders. The two groups of stakeholders you usually have are the executive sponsors and development managers. When you're starting Agile on your organization, these groups are interested in very different things. They'll listen for solutions to their own sets of challenges. Executives will be more interested in predictability and delivery. This group is usually looking for ways to get teams to commit to delivery dates. Some executive talk about plans in terms of years but would usually settle for predictable work over months. That means for an executive, you'll want to describe Agile as a regimented and predictable delivery framework. Most executives are not concerned about the way that you run your meetings., they'll have very little interest in the team's meetings, planning, or retrospectives.
