- So, if your boss or people in the company start talking about the need for change, things have to change. That can be pretty stressful and the truth is it would be so enormously helpful if leaders were clear about what that meant. The truth is they're not always and there's a lot of room for misinterpretation sometimes. Especially when we're dealing with a potentially, emotionally loaded or complicated subject like the need to change. And so, the very first order of business, before you speculate, before you get upset, before you wonder about what's going on.
