- So you're holding yourself accountable, and you've even created structures to help you do that. That's great, but even the best of us often need help and support in the process. Here are a few ways to consider doing this so you can have extra backup when you need it. First, you might consider forming or joining a mastermind group. This is a popular concept, originally talked about by Napoleon Hill back in the 1920s, where a group of maybe four to eight people gets together on a regular basis, talks about their challenges and opportunities and offers help and encouragement to each other. This can be a very powerful force because it helps you realize you're not alone. And you have other people you respect that you can turn to during difficult times or when you don't know what to do.
