A little advanced planning helps you to move smoothly from airport to hotel to your remote workplace, but the little details are too often neglected. This video examines some tricks for managing ground transportation, keeping important documents and tools handy, and pivoting when things go wrong. It all starts with having the right things when you need them because that can save you extra trips. I recommend you divide your stuff into three parts. First, there's the stuff you need immediately at hand like current travel tickets and medication and your phone. Keep these either in your pockets or in a bag you carry with you at all times. Second is the stuff that's still important, but that you don't need right away such as your computer and printouts of information that you also have in your phone.
