- Once you have a logic map built and you've identified all the issues that can be contributing to your top-level problem, we need to start driving toward possible solutions. The good news is, a logic map already starts giving you hints of what those solutions might be. So let me walk you through a logic map, and then I'll show you how solutions can start emerging from those terminal ends of the logic map. Now for this example, I've looked at revenues logically by saying we have three products that we sell, product A, B, and C, and that's how we're going to breakdown that portion of the solution space. In terms of cost and how those affect our profits, we're going to look at the price that we pay for our raw materials that go into our products, as well as the quantity of those materials that we purchase.
