- So that's all the basics put in, but I now want to do some things to the Gantt chart to make it a bit nicer. The first thing I'm going to do is put proper dates on the top here rather than just week numbers. So what we're going to do is just select that row, and just go Insert Row like that and then I can put in the dates. So let's suppose to today is the 12th of February 2012 and oh what does it mean when you get those and the answer is it means column isn't wide enough, but don't worry about that, I'm going to sort that out in a minute. So that's week commencing the 12th. Now a week after that it will be the 19th of February 2012, and in order to make those visible, I'm going to select that row again I'm going to go right-click and I'm going to go Format Cells and then I'm going to go Alignment. I got to pull this up to being a diagonal like that. Say Okay, so there they are. Ooh that's much nicer. Then some of these I did with the numbers. I can then select both of them and drag…
