- Often when I'm working with students and executives it can be hard to shake them out of their present moment. One of the easiest ways to see a variety of futures is to imagine possible headlines that could emerge. Remember those Mad Libs we used to play on road trips? Where the body of the story was constructed, but you are asked to fill in a few key words. We're going to do our own version of that right now in a game I like to call Future Headlines. This can be a super easy and effective way to get into a futurist mindset and expand the range of possible. Let's imagine a future 10 years out. It's the year blank, and President blank just announced blank. Now, for US citizens, that's only three election cycles out, which is actually pretty imaginable. Let's do another one. It's the year blank, and the National Institute for Health just discovered a cure for blank. Let's fill this one in together. It's the year 2030,…
