- If you're looking for a job or a new job or an entirely new career, it's great to know where the opportunities are and what the growth in that sector or occupation will be. But it's also important to know what the jobs will pay. Fortunately, in the occupational outlook handbook, there's also a published number for what the salaries are for the different job categories. In this table, you can see some of the biggest opportunities aggregated together. In the first column, you see the projected job changes between 2019 and 2029. Lots of job creation in all of these categories here. And six of the 10 fastest are related to healthcare. There is a saying that demographics is destiny.
