Fixing bad agile

- Many organizations underestimate the type of radical change involved in embracing an agile mindset. Still, they power forward and hope that they'll get some improvements from agile teams. These teams become islands of agility and a larger and less flexible organization. Because of this mismatch, you end up with a lot of bad agile. It's not because the team isn't working hard and it's not even because the organization's unwilling to change. It's just that organizational change is hard and it takes a long time for any company to shift their mindset. Hi, I'm Doug Rose and I've seen a lot of bad agile. This course will go through some of the key things I've learned when working with agile teams. When you're first starting out, there are many things you can do to prevent bad agile. So we'll go through several ways to solve common problems. Agile teams often say that there aren't really bad people; there's only bad process. So this course will go over some process improvements to help you work better in your organization. This course is for scrum masters, product owners, directors, project managers, and anyone who works with or on an agile team. Remember that one of the key values in agile mindset is to gather feedback and embrace change. So let's work together to figure out how we can fix some of that bad agile.
