- So I or any other trainer could have taught you everything there is to know about selling to business leaders. You could have every piece of information under the sun about that individual. You could even know the prospect's pain ahead of the call. However, if you can't reach them, you can't sell to them. So one of my biggest tips is to find a direct route to the business leader. Asking less senior colleagues or their PA to pass on a message will not work. They'll sell it wrong, or they won't pass it on at all. It's a waste of time. So getting these details, they're obviously easier said than done. So, you need to hunt around wherever possible. Get extensions or mobile numbers directly from their website or check their LinkedIn. Sometimes it's on their contact info section. Maybe use mutual connections if they know the prospect and ask them for the direct line, and make sure you check your CRM and past notes to see…
