- [Interviewer] You've made reference, I understand in your book, to a couple of other old rules of networking advice. What are some of those? And what makes things different now? - [Author] There's so many. I'll start with one, it's a popular saying which is to "Never eat a meal alone. "That every meal's a networking opportunity." And again, it's about calibrating your. - [Interviewer] So you say, "Keith Ferrazzi, "you're dead wrong." - [Author] That's right, that's right. I really do disagree with that. Well, I should say, that works for about 15% of the general population. So that's good advice for really strong extroverts, people who identify strongly with extroversion. It doesn't work for the rest of us, and it allows us to not have time to reenergize.
