- Feedback is crucial, for us to understand how we are being received, how we are being seen, heard and valued. When it comes to your reputation that's about understanding how people think of you what they most associate with you when you're not in the room. So some strategies for reputation management center around soliciting feedback. A couple of tips, the first is to understand what you're looking for. So if in your earlier goals or as you reflect on some of the exercises today you just really want to know if you are succinct, if your words and ideas are landing well with others maybe you have teammates from different parts of the world or teammates that have different perspectives or different skill sets.
