Fake it until you make it
- Do you remember when you were a kid and you would tell everyone what you wanted to be when you grew up? I'm going to be a lawyer when I grow up. I'm going to be an astronaut when I grow up. I'm going to be an artist when I grow up. What reaction did you get when you said that? Maybe you were told you are so talented. You should definitely be an artist, or maybe you were told you can't be an astronaut. Hardly anyone gets to do that. How did you feel when you were told you could do something versus a time when you were told you couldn't? It's amazing how, when you are told you can do something, you feel motivated and inspired. You work harder and you perfect your skills. You will stop at nothing to get that end result. On the flip side, when you are told you can't do something, you are much more likely to give up.
