- So in a crisis, they come when you least expect it. And so you have to see it coming and you have to appreciate the implications of what's going on, no matter how terrible it is. It could throw out all your plans. Everything could be falling apart and you may have to cancel everything. But you need to realize you have to step up to that crisis. 'Cause that's your job as a leader. So it is a new reality you're looking at. And the reality is you don't really fully understand it. But you've got to dive in and do the best you can and understand, who's going to be impacted by this crisis, who's going to be harmed, and what role do you and your organization have in leadership to help people through this crisis?
