- Most people in our society wear some sort of corrective lenses on their eyes at some point in their life. So when we come to work and we're focusing so much on our computer screens, a lot of times, we feel more comfortable if we have eyeglasses, or just in general, we need prescriptions for our eyes. If you are in my age range, you may find, and with our aging population, that progressive lens eyeglasses are more and more common. I happen to have a pair of progressive lens glasses right here. Well if you look at them, you can't tell that they're progressive lens, but when I put them on, I can see different items by tilting my head in different directions. When I'm looking at my monitor screen, the tendency is for me to tilt my head back so that I can read the screen through the bottom portion of my progressive lens glasses. Bifocal glasses work the same way. The bottom portion of the glass is the greatest magnification, and that is what people are most comfortable using when they're…
