- So you've covered the obvious stuff. You've got your education on there, you've got your career, it's all short, it's fitting on one page. You've put your achievements. You've covered the what's in for them, you've tailored it. Are there any extra things you should put on your CV? And I just want to make a few points about this. First of all, spare time activities. You don't need to put any. There's no rule that says you've got to have spare time activities. I would only put them in if you need to add a skill, say, leadership, that's not covered in your work history. If you've never been a manager, you might want to say, "I manage something in my spare time". Or if you want to show creativity, there might be something in your spare time you do that's very creative, you could put that in. If you are going to put spare time activities, by the way, it's quite good to show perseverance. You might want to think about that.…
