- Strategies are important but they're worthless without a well-executed tactical plan to bring them to life. So, once you've nailed your strategies, it's time to build the plan and how you gonna execute the tactics to make all of this real. One of the big differences between building a tactical plan as a head of sales versus how you may have done this previously in your career is there's gonna be no one above you telling you what you need to do by when. You're gonna need to create all of the structure and timing yourself or if you're lucky, you've got a couple of strong partners around you, maybe a sales ops partner, a communication partner et cetera. The example that I wanted to bring to life for you was the strategy that's important to me, part of my top three around communication.
