- You might be thinking you don't have any press worthy things happening right now, so why would the media come to a story on you? This is a huge mistake made by way too many companies. The media always needs regular content, it's critical you understand this and use it to your advantage to get a lot of free press. Here's what I want you to do, first reach out to the press every time you're doing anything new. This could literally mean anything you're doing that is different.
