Establishing buy-in with other leaders

- You may have heard the phrase, let's make a deal. When leading through relationships, it's important to know how the work well with other leaders and to make things happen together. We are going to look at how you can do this in your business through gaining buy-in from other leaders. First, you can take the opportunity to reach out and learn about what your peer leaders are doing. Ask them how's it going, what works well, and what they could be doing differently. It will probably surprise them that you're interested in what they're working on. This builds a bridge between you so they'll be more likely to buy into your projects later on. For example, if I were to meet another influencer that I follow, I'll be able to say, "Love your book, and I can see what you're doing "with third party companies. "What do you think about collaborating "on XYZ project or initiative?" You can also find out what their hot buttons are, what makes them tick, what's important to them. Understanding what…
