Establish team values
- Successful teams and companies are built on a foundation of strong cultures that revolve around their values. While your team vision is an aspirational goal for the team's future, team values will define your culture in getting there. Having a foundation of shared values instills trust among the team members. They also provide a framework from which decisions can be made. If the vision is your destination, the values are the highways that get you there. As a leader, you and your teams already know the corporate vision and values. You took the time to make sure that your team vision fit within that framework. Now it's time to take one step further and establish your team values. Let's look at an example. Amazon's vision says, "Our vision is to be the Earth's "most customer-centric company to build a place "where people can come to find and discover anything "they might want to buy online."
