- I'm Barb Phillips, and I'm an occupational therapist, and I'm here today to talk to you about ergonomics. What we're going to learn is all different ways that you can adjust the equipment at your desk so that you can be safe and comfortable while you're at work. And we're also going to learn about risk factors, and those are the things that put you at risk for developing potential injuries. So you want to recognize what the risk factors are so that you can avoid them and keep yourself safe and healthy at work. The reason you want to watch these ergonomic videos is because I have some very simple, and easy solutions for making your workspace safe and comfortable. And when you're safe and comfortable at work, you're going to be more productive and happier.
