- How I've leaned into my fear is to do things that stretch me that might be a little uncomfortable. A great example of that is being in Chicago for my whole career and really comfortable and knowing how everything works and deciding that it was a time, my kids were three kids under 10, I couldn't really take a C-level job because that meant so much traveling or a global job, and so I decided that what would be great for the company, what would be great for me, is to go win a movie studio and move to LA. My CEO at the time was like, "Yeah, you go do that. I'm like, "Okay, I will." So we started with a smaller company in LA, got our feet wet and learned the business, and then I ended up pitching Disney, we won, and I announced to my family, of course my husband and I were in cahoots and had agreements before that, but did announce to the kids, "So we're all moving to California.
