- In addition to recharging our own battery,…there are simple things we can do at work…and at home to help energize those around us.…One of the most impactful ways to do this…is to create rules and boundaries around our time.…And really integrate energy management…with time management, so that it's more focused…on the value we get from the time that we have,…not reinforcing the idea that we need to be rushing…and stressing all the time, which is so not helpful.…
There are many potential strategies you could use,…but I'm going to share the two that I think…are the most helpful.…Less multitasking and more meaning-making.…When we stop trying to do so many things at once,…we manage our energy much more effectively.…This allows the primal, more sensitive parts of the brain…to stay calm, flexible, and adaptable to change.…And, it's contagious.…Think about it.…When you're around someone and their phone rings,…it changes their energy and attention.…
But it can also make you wonder what else you could…or should be doing right now instead of paying attention…
