- In many ways, people only understand events after they've become history. In Retrospectives, this is called the team's reflection. It's the time when everybody combines their little piece of the team's story to come up with the end-to-end history of the last Sprint. This reflection is an important part of team improvement. It gets people out of the day-to-day firefighting and into a long-term strategy on how to improve. Agile does this reflection at the end of every Sprint. That usually means you don't have to wait for the project to end to see real improvement. We've seen the importance of having a good collaborative workspace. That way, the team knows what they're doing and they know it's something different. Now we can start to get people together to have a meaningful discussion.
