- [Instructor] Number two is we're going to be really tolerant of diverse viewpoints. So when we're going to seek out sources of information that disagree with us. We're going to agree to discuss them. If you disagree with me, I am not going to dismiss you. I'm going to work my best to not be defensive when I hear it, and I'm going to try to figure out what it is that you might be right about that I hadn't considered. Right, what are the things that can help me construct a better view of the world. And that doesn't mean that if I have some belief that disagrees with you that I go from 100% sure of that belief to 0% sure of that belief because you happen to disagree with me. It may be that I was 80% sure that my belief was accurate and now because of things that I've talked to you about I'm now 72% sure.
