- Let's imagine that you're about to have surgery. You've been told that it's a pretty routine procedure, but there are some risks. When you meet the doctor that morning, you notice that he is sweating and his hands are shaking a little. He's telling you how the procedure's going to go, but he's speaking rapidly and he seems to have facial tick of some sort. What are the chances that you're going to go through with that procedure that morning? Pretty slim, I'm sure. We don't want to have someone that is overly nervous or twitchy anywhere near us with a scalpel. Our sales presentations may not exactly be surgery, but the feelings that we convey to our prospects are much the same as that example.
