Do the right thing

Do the right thing

- I have a belief passed down to me by my father about the obligations when you are fortunate, when you have succeeded. So the obligation is to not shut the door to other people succeeding but to leave the door open, maybe even help people through the door. And that's a moral obligation. And I was taught that at a very young age. Now I can't tell you that I'm Marcus Wellby mentoring everybody, okay, so don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to paint myself as some mythical awesome mentoring total philanthropic person, but I do believe there's a moral obligation to help others, to pay it back as opposed to forward, to pay it back because the difference between me and someone who's less successful is often just blind dumb luck. It's not like we quote on quote deserve it. There's a karma scoreboard in the sky and you should definitely be in the positive part of that karma scoreboard 'cause you never know.
