- Businesses aren't conscious entities that act on their own, they're led by real people who make daily decisions about how to treat their employees. The more you know about a company's leaders, the easy it is to see whether they truly value all of their employees. With that in mind, let's take a look at some ways to evaluate a company's leaders. The first strategy is to look for diversity among executive leadership. The company's website is an easy place to start because most will include pictures and short bios for their leadership team. Take a look at those bio's and pictures and see if there's diverse representation among the leaders. If you see few minorities among the management team, that's a red flag that minority employees are less likely to be promoted into highly influential positions.
