As a leader, you need to find out what motivates your employees, and in the public sector that's even more important. So let me show you some ways to motivate employees in the public sector. Survey after survey tells us that today's employees want the opportunity to grow. So start by talking to your employees about their short and long-term goals. Then use this information to point them to resources to help them grow. Now, before you spend big money on formal training and conferences, look at non-traditional learning methods.
