Detecting ethics issues
- Leaders that find ethics issues in their organizations have a really keen intuition, and that really keen intuition comes from observation. Things just don't look right. People's behavior might change. Reports might change. There's a number of things that just become somewhat altered or end up presenting themselves a little bit differently in your office or in the environment, and you don't know why. Sometimes that's naturally going to happen because there's different direction, different client, different products, you've given maybe even a challenge to your organization and things are going to change as a result, like that's great. But absent of one of those things, something changes, and I think that's going to be, a good leader will be triggered. The ethics trigger, amongst other things, might be twigged as a result of that, and it's time to look around.
