Demonstrating authenticity

- In a previous video, "Introduce the Team to Investors," I mentioned just as much as investors are investing in your product and your business, they're also investing in you. This means, oftentimes, there are certain characteristics they're looking for that demonstrates you're ready. Though this isn't a foolproof list of traits, and it can vary greatly by investors, the ones I'll be talking about are generally traits that have been repeated by people who communicate with entrepreneurs. One word I often hear from investors is they look for people who display authenticity. This means just being who you are and showing your passion for your company. They want to know your genuine care and concern about the problem you're solving, and what is it about you that makes you unique to solving this problem.
