Delegate tasks
- Of course, this one is only an option if you have the resources available to you, but delegating is a really effective way to get rid of tasks and still have them done to an acceptable level. It takes an element of trust that some people struggle to overcome, but once you pass that, it's really useful. Now, I'm not going to go into the intricate details of delegation. There's a whole world out there of training courses specifically designed to help you delegate well. I might even make one myself in the future. So I don't want to go into a lot of detail here, but I will give you a quick few tips. Firstly, as we're talking about sales situations, make sure the person you're delegating to is comfortable and capable with the task.
