- So excellent health care is first and foremost about doing the best we can by patients. It means keeping patients safe. Patients should never leave the hospital sicker or in a worse condition than when they arrive in our care. - Excellent Health care, to me, means keeping a person at their highest level of function, both physically and mentally. - I like approaching healthcare from the perspective of the patient or of the resident. I envision myself in the patient's place. So from that perspective, I want the best treatment and the best care that I can get. I want to get better, I want to get out, I want to continue on with my life. - Excellent health care means to me everybody paying a part in your team, from the doctors to your social workers and your direct care workers, everybody paying attention to said resident, and what's on their everyday agenda, what's going on with them. - It is all about taking care of a…
