Dealing with fear

- Fear. The word alone even sounds scary. Think about what you are most afraid of. You probably have an actual physical reaction. Can you feel that fear somewhere in your body? Your chest? The pit of your stomach? Fear can be crippling. Public speaking, and for some, communication in general, can be horrifically terrifying. You're not alone if you feel this way, but you shouldn't be defeated by fear. I want to walk you through a few specific things that you can do to move away from "I can't do this" to "I got this." With practice and persistence, you can really overcome fear. First, stop going into worst case scenario mode. When you're afraid of something, you might overestimate the likelihood of bad things happening. So I want you to list your specific worries.
