- To cultivate presence and have an impact in the workplace and the people that you work with and on the contributions that you make requires you to be seen, heard, and valued. So under the category of being seen, I want to talk about the strategies to help you promote yourself and to own your strengths, your successes. But what gets in the way of us being seen and us putting ourselves out there? When I talk about being heard, our communication styles can vary drastically around the world, and even specifically between gender. So I want to share some of the hiccups, the challenges that women encounter as they're trying to get their ideas across and really be heard. And then ultimately being valued.
