- [Instructor] If you're not the only person…using your database, you may find that you want to restrict…other users' ability to edit, delete, or add data…in your database.…One good way to prevent that is to create a form…that shows people what they need to see,…but doesn't allow them to edit the data…viewed through the form.…In design view of the form,…display the property sheet and choose form…from the drop list.…On the data tab, change the allow additions,…deletions, and edit settings to no.…
Also, set data entry to no.…Save the form and test it.…The new record button is now dimmed…and any attempt to change the data…in the existing records is ignored.…
