- So let's spend a little bit of time on financial projections. Sometimes this can be intimidating for people, they feel like, "Oh, I'm not a numbers person" or "Oh, I don't really understand finance". But if you've taken some friends and family money and you're putting that money into design, marketing, prototypes for your business, maybe developmental software, think of putting a little aside to pay an outsourced CFO to make sure that your financials are in order because nothing will get you a faster no than if your financials are not in order. This says to us that you don't understand your business, that you don't understand how to run your business, and you most likely won't be profitable at the end of the day. It's really easy, take a quick look on the Internet and google outsourced CFO.
