Creating a collaborative culture

Now, the really important thing about making sure you don't stay within your silos is that ability to connect with people in different parts of the organization to build levels of trust, and security, and honesty. So there are some simple steps we can take to make collaboration better, and more simple, and more productive for us all, whether we work in a space as glamorous as Pixar, or whether we work in a normal office building. The first thing is make sure you take time to get to know somebody you never usually work with, somebody you meet in a corridor, somebody who works in a different department.
