- Now once you've sent your emails out, then what happens? Well, you might get one or two people back that says, "Hey, this is really interesting, I'd like to know this, this and this." And they might have a specific question. Don't expect that they're going to print something. They may or may not print something. So at this point, you just let it go, let it go. Then what you're going to do is you're going to follow up. So about two days after you send out your email, you're going to come up with a clever crafty follow up email. For this, I want you to come up with a paragraph, it's just a short little paragraph maybe four sentences to follow up. Have a line in there about what it is you were pitching. "Dear Catherine, hi it's Nicole. I'm gently following up with you about a pitch I sent about..." Whatever it is, healthy fats and how they help your brain. "Do you have any interest in this pitch?
