- There is no shortage of ways we get in our own way of what we say we want, whether that's better health, a leadership role, or more work-life integration. So when we are calling people to take action on our communication, we must remember that other people have these same inclinations. People my have logical concerns and reservations about taking action. We need to be sure to address those. But, even when people may consciously agree wholeheartedly with what we are recommending, and see it in their best interest, and really want to take action, at an unconscious level, something may also be holding them back, and we must address that as well.
