Corporate structure and ownership

- In the company summary, you have an opportunity to really sell yourself and demonstrate your ideas through the following components. Number one, company, structure and ownership. This is one of the most important parts of your business plan. Consider this your personal resume section. Take the time to talk about the corporate structure, when it was formed and in what state was it formed. Does it have partners and how is the ownership distributed? Is this a for-profit or non-profit business? Who handles the day-to-day operations of the business? Give a background of each member or partner, including awards and military services, as well as education levels, leadership abilities, and more. Focus on highlighting their skills as it relates to your business.
