But what if you need consumer insights, but you don't have that kind of budget? Let me tell you about a technique called from pain to gain, which can help your team understand the issues and obstacles around its own products or services. It's ideal for improving aspects of your business that customers complain about. It's also a technique you can use to solve internal pain points in the office. Now to illustrate, let's explore a pain point that many of us can relate to: meetings. So let's write the pain point, meetings, at the top of a sheet of paper or a whiteboard and draw a line down the center. Title the left column pains and title the right column gains.
