- [Instructor] Imagine that two of your colleagues are standing together talking. You'd like to join the conversation, but don't know if you'll be an interruption or a welcome addition. You can find out by watching their feet. If the feet of your two colleagues stay in place, while they twist their upper bodies in your direction, they're simply acknowledging you. But if their feet open to include you, it's an invitation to join in. When most people are working on their body language, they focus on posture, facial expressions, and gesture. That leaves their feet unrehearsed and often very revealing. Here are four messages you send when you communicate with your feet. One, you like or agree with me. If we were sitting across from each other and I saw your leg stretched with your feet pointing at me, I'd be pretty sure our relationship was going well.
