- We've all seen it. Someone with a good message, but whose delivery of that message was totally unconvincing. The way we speak our ideas matters. If we accidentally undermine our idea with our delivery, we might tell people to tune out, or that we're not confident in our message. But if we can deliver a message with self-assurance, we grab people's attention, telling them to listen and learn more. Let's do a little experiment and apply this right now. In your lowest-energy sleepiest tone, I want you to say aloud, I'm going to take on this new project by the reins. I can't wait to get started. Pause the video now to do it.
